Cristina founded the certified public accounting company and provides tax planning and preparation, financial statement and audit services, business controllership functions, consulting and advisory services.
Cristina's career experience began working for a project engineering firm in the accounting and payroll departments. She then obtained a position in public accounting specializing in auditing, and internal controls for service-related companies. She was hired by one of the company's clients, a trust company, and served in the roles of Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. She specialized in corporate accounting and tax, as well as accounting and operations for investment funds. In her position she launched the accounting and financial functions for four new product lines and established and maintained internal controls and operating procedures for the trust company as it grew from $300 million in assets to $9 billion. She was promoted from within to Corporate Controller of the parent financial holding company. There she was responsible for the corporate accounting, financial reporting, and taxation of the parent company and its subsidiaries including: a trust company, broker dealer, fund accounting group, hedge fund, registered investment advisor, and a portfolio management company. In 2003, she along with Alan Tackman formed ACT Financial Services Group LLC.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and is also a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Cristina is a Board Member of HELP for KIDS: An Exchange Club Parenting Skills Center and is an active member of several local non-profit and civic organizations. She is the Past President of the Exchange Club of Stamford. She is the recipient of the 2020 National Exchange Club Connecticut District Exchangite of the Year Award. She served as a Board Member and Finance Chairman of the Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority from 2011 through 2019. Cristina is a Justice of the Peace in the State of Connecticut.
Steven began working for the firm in January 2012. He began his career at a regional CPA firm in the Hartford, CT area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
Roy has worked for over thirty years in various financial roles for major Wall Street firms. Most recently he was the Repo Trader and then the CFO for Natixis ABM, managing an $8 billion portfolio of Agency CMO's. He has a BS in Accounting from the University of Binghamton and an MBA from the University of Bridgeport.
Alan began his career in public accounting in the tax department of the big six firm, Touche Ross & Company. Six years later he joined a local firm, where he was promoted to partner. In 1984, along with two other partners he established Tackman, Pilla, Arnone & Company PC (TPA). During his time at TPA the company grew to be one of the largest multi-office local public accounting firms in Fairfield County, Connecticut. In May 1997, he founded his own firm A.C. Tackman and Company and in 2003 joined with Cristina Andreana to form ACT Financial Services Group LLC. After retiring from public accounting, and ACT Financial Services Group, he formed Apexx Business Solutions Inc which provides consulting services to businesses and individuals. Alan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Bridgeport and has over 50 years of business and CPA experience.
